Māori designer Chloē Reweti shapes Kaea's brand by visually interpreting their story by interweaving traditional motifs with modern aesthetics. Kaea also welcomes her as their Creative Advisor.

From our launch in July, much has been happening over the past few weeks as we have focused on developing our place in the world. During this time, we've been very fortunate, even blessed, to have Kaea's story and branding beautifully interpreted by Chloe Reweti, one of Aotearoa New Zealand's creative pillars.

As a Māori designer, Chloē's work is deeply influenced by her tribal roots, interweaving traditional motifs with modern aesthetics. Her indigenous background is not merely an aspect of her identity; it's a strength she draws upon, infusing her creations with a rich cultural tapestry and a connection to the natural environment.

"the central motif has elements of, but is not exclusively, Māori, effectively creating space for all communities to feel a part of our journey. From a design perspective, it represents both the flow of time and a space where two streams converge - becoming one."

Chloē shares, "In creating the logo and its various iterations, expressing a balance between leadership and community was necessary." Furthermore, "the central motif has elements of, but is not exclusively, Māori, effectively creating space for all communities to feel a part of our journey. From a design perspective, it represents both the flow of time and a space where two streams converge - becoming one."

We are very grateful to Chloē for this visual storytelling, and we are further excited to welcome her to Kaea's Advisory Group as our Creative Advisor.

Te Arikirangi, Kaea’s Director, is humbled by Chloē's creative talent, generosity, and gentle nature, and is blessed to have her and her work at the centre of Kaea's community.

Chloe's portfolio can be seen on her website at www.chloereweti.com.

In other news, we will be launching Further updates as we announce the launch of our website and podcast.
